From what he's told me, it takes 3 years to fully heal from c-section. The numbness will always be there, and the pain in my abs will improve as my core gets stronger. Although, the occasional pain may still happen. It's all worth it to have my little guy with me though :). I had a very rare labor and delivery experience, so my body is healing a little differently from it. It's a weird feeling. I've just always chalked it up to nerve damage. I would call your doctor and explain the numbness, and how your gut feels when you do ab exercises. I mean, there might be an issue internally that needs to be addressed/corrected.
